Web 2.0

I think that the Machine Is Using Us Video is Trying to say that the internet is advancing. By advancing i mean that The internet is kind of getting its own "personality". Like its not just a place to go to find information. the internet is a place to go if you want to have fun, connect with friends, do work, store information, and voice your opinion. The best part is anything you post on the internet like your opinion or thoughts or just things for fun people will see it. Also the video was saying how the internet is always changing. Like the more stuff we put on there the more the internet advances and the more people can learn from it. Any idea that people post is heard and it help other people advance. In the beginning the internet was weak not advanced and primitive to what it is today. And the more people used it the more it advanced the people benefited from it and the more it advanced.  Well i guess what im trying to say the more we use the internet and express our opinion, the more we advance, the more we learn, the the more it advances and the more people are free.

Really? FAIL!

Come on really how do you fail that bad; The government sent 72,000 stimulus to people that are dead. Thats about oh you know 18million dollars! What i want to know is how the government can make that big of a mistake. Now of course the figured out that that happened. They also got half of the money back. apparently this happened because those  72000 people that  filed for the checks last year died.  still how can our government make that mistake wouldn't they figured out that those people were dead?!? Do other country's like Russia and England have these problems. The answer no. But they do have other problems. This just tells me that there is still a lot of work that Obama has to do before this county can get more responsible. It also tells me they need to get their system under control where people that requested things a year ago get them a year later when their not alive. to conclude thats how the government fail that hard.

Whoops almost forgot here where i got the story:http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-general/20101007/US.Stimulus.Checks.Dead.People/

footprints in the digital age

In the article Footprints In the Digital Age by Will Richardson he talks about how kids are creating things on the web. This relates to me because i have a YouTube account and make videos on it. In one point he said the web influences kids and teens and it does i get and lean a lot of stuff from the web and so do other kids and teens. When it said about that one girl who wanted to keep her grandpas memory alive and that made me think not every one uses the internet in the same way. Web 2.0 is a whole bunch of things like i use it to make funny videos and entertain others i know some that use it seriously and some to spread info. Almost every one uses web 2.0 weather they want to admit it or not we can do good things with it or bad but what ever you do your leaving your digital footprint, how  do you want yours to be? its your choice.

Operation New Dawn

Like all other wars the war with Iraq is coming to a close. Mission Iraqi Freedom has ended. They’re giving the mission a new name Operation New Dawn. This is a huge braking point considering we’ve been at war with them for at least 10 years. Now that the combat is over the government can send troops back home and reunite families. I think that this is great! Considering that my cousin is in the military. Barrack Obama has already signed the message too .This is very important that we got out of the war because now the government can start focusing on fixing the economy. There isn’t very much more news about it than that. Now Americans everywhere can a little less stressed about war.

pln#1

I think that the video A Vision of Students is trying to discourge people to going to collage. Some other people might not agree with me but, when I watched it that was the impression i got. also i liked how they refrenced lots of real orld problems. For exsample like when they said this isnt helping me with.. and, other people held up sighns saying things. Also one was something like i paid thousands of dollars for books i nevered opened. Also made me think if thats true then why do people want to go there so much? The summary of this video was to show people the real part of collage that people who arnt there dont get to see
